Life Coping Skills 101

As my professor has suggested, I am trying to bring out the inner child in myself; and by that... I mean that I am trying to dive into this technology learning experience with childlike abandonment. I have to learn to not be afraid of technology (technology is my friend!), because it is not going away, it is just getting more and more sophisticated, and I no longer want to be a slave to my fears. I have learned a lot in the two technology sessions I have attended, but most of the learning comes from just going into the different sites and reading and playing around. So, I now know that a voice thread is a web-based communications network that is built specifically for K-12 students and educators to share stories through audio, images, videos or text. (I have even registered for my very own free voice thread account). And, I now have a basic knowledge of how google docs can be used to work on documents in collaboration with others. And as you can see, I am now officially a blogger! P.S. That is me in the pink dress; 2nd row up, 2nd from the left.
